Matthias Huser is a director, producer, video artist, and set designer. He studied film and theatre directing (MA) at the Zurich University of the Arts and Time-Based Art at the University of New South Wales – Fine Arts in Sydney. His work has been presented, among others, at the Cannes International Film Festival, the Locarno International Film Festival, the Autor:innentheatertage in Berlin, and at Theater Neumarkt. As a video artist and set designer, he works with various theatres in the German-speaking region, including Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Staatstheater Braunschweig, and Theaterhaus Jena. Matthias Huser is a member of the production company 8horses, the Swiss Directors Association ARF/FDS, and NETZWERK-REGIE.​
