INPUT & GIPFELI
In the "Input & Gipfeli" format, a one-hour Zoom session is used to address a problem that concerns production managers in their everyday lives. An expert gives a short input on the topic (approx. 20 minutes) and then answers your questions. For example, there was input on founding an association, personnel administration, social security, accounting and touring.
“Input & Gipfeli” always takes place from 9 to 10 a.m.

As part of the production process, artists, artistic directors and presenters often spend time defining the target audience for a performance. Once this has been identified, the next challenge is finding effective ways to reach and engage those audiences.
To explore these questions and broader issues around audience development and community engagement, artFAQ is hosting this Input & Croissants session with Samara Leite Walt.
Samara Leite Walt is a journalist and communications strategist who has worked for many years in communications across a range of artistic contexts. Her experience includes collaborations with artistic projects such as roaring*, Recycling of Life, Club der gebrochenen Herzen and Undine, as well as work for independent performing arts venues including Vorstadttheater Basel and Südpol Luzern.
In her presentation, she will share insights into what makes audience development and community engagement successful in the performing arts. The session will be followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion

«Tax Declaration & Gipfeli» for Cultural Associations with Dominik Huber (Trustee)
Experience shows that in September, artFAQ receives an increasing number of enquiries related to tax declarations. The official deadline in the Canton of Zurich for submitting tax returns for legal entities is 30 September.
For this reason, artFAQ has invited Dominik Huber (trustee) to provide an input session on how to complete tax declarations for cultural associations. Dominik Huber (trustee with a federal diploma and graduate of the Scuola Teatro Dimitri TI) has extensive experience in the field of performing arts thanks to his work at t.punkt Theaterschaffen Schweiz and will be happy to answer any remaining questions after the session.
For this event, artFAQ will use the tax declaration template for associations from the Canton of Zurich as a reference. Questions regarding tax declarations from other German-speaking Swiss cantons may also be addressed where possible.
