INPUT & GIPFELI
FORMAT
The Input & Gipfeli (croissant) format is a one-hour zoom session that deals with issues and topics production managers face in their work. An expert gives a short input on the chosen topic (approximately 20 minutes) and then answers your questions. In the past, for example, Wolfgang Jäger from the tax office of Zürich led a discussion on the complex topic of withholding tax or an Input about Fundraising with Nela Bunjevac, director of the Landis & Gyr association. Input & Gipfeli always takes place from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

With this Input & Gipfeli we start the next focus on the topic of
“work in culture”, with a particular focus on work in the performing arts.
In this first input, we will take a closer look at certain topics that you encounter at work.
Of course, as always, with plenty of room for your questions.

To kick things off, we welcome Franziska Schmidt. She has worked as a producer and tour manager in various roles for over 10 years. During her work at produktionsDOCK in Basel and the Kaserne Basel, she has collaborated with many artists from so-called Drittstaaten (non-EU / EFTA countries).
As part of a short input, she will show us examples of what you need to pay attention to when working with artists from Drittstaaten.
