Residencies that provide artists with time and space for research and reflection on their own artistic practice are well established in our scene. However, such spaces for production managers, where they can reflect on and further develop their structures, are scarce.

For this reason, artFAQ 2025 launched the Producers Residency: We want to offer producers and production managers with ties to the Zurich region a space to reflect on their working methods and structures. At the same time, we want to encourage production managers to form alliances or develop new forms of collaboration in the field of production.

A three-day residency can be applied by a group of at least two and a maximum of four people working in performing arts production – regardless of whether you've only recently started or have been doing it for several years. It's also not important whether you've already founded an association, only occasionally collaborated loosely at the same location, or are just considering it.
